Learn to recognize opioid overdose symptoms and properly administer Narcan via nasal spray or injection, ensuring effective airway management while awaiting emergency medical assistance. - CPR & AED for Adults, Children, and Infants
Practice age-specific CPR techniques, including compression depth, rescue breaths, and AED use, to provide high-quality resuscitation for victims of cardiac arrest. - The Heimlich Maneuver for Choking Emergencies
Understand how to perform abdominal thrusts on conscious choking victims and adapt techniques for unconscious individuals or those unable to receive standard thrusts. - Pediatric Choking Emergencies
Learn to identify airway obstructions in infants and young children, using back blows and chest thrusts to clear blockages safely and effectively. - Use of an EpiPen
Recognize signs of anaphylaxis and properly administer an epinephrine auto-injector, ensuring the victim receives prompt, life-saving intervention before emergency medical help arrives. - Defibrillation Machine (AED)
Gain hands-on experience using an AED, including pad placement, following device prompts, and delivering shocks safely to restore a normal heart rhythm.
