Earlier today there was an unthinkable attack at a synagogue in Pittsburgh during Shabbat morning services that resulted in multiple injuries and fatalities.
Within minutes of this situation unfolding, our partners at Mulligan Security were in contact with us and the NYPD. Appropriate precautionary steps were taken at SPS during our morning services. It goes without saying that the safety of our community is paramount and that in conjunction with Mulligan Security and The NYPD we will always take all appropriate measures.
Our heartfelt prayers go out to the members of the Tree of Life Synagogue Community as well as the heroic first responders and their families.
